Isle of the Ancient Skull

Overview:

On the Isle of the Ancient Skull you will meet citizens from all walk of life across the Looming Ocean. You, Eliza Alexia, learn of the presence of Captain Horngrave in town, an infamous pirate looking to recruit a new crew to hunt for the treasure of the legendary pirate, Olaf the Banished. Talk to the people in town and complete quests for them to prepare for adventure.

This work demonstrates how to create an immersive environment within a video game through the use of engaging dialogue with characters with depth, completing RPG-esque questlines, environmental storytelling, visuals, and audio design. In particular, what was most important to me when creating the town was to make everything fit within the aesthetic, which includes the UI elements.
