From the Tavern and Back

From the Tavern and Back is a Dungeon World adventure manual that puts the players in a fantasy world. In this tabletop RPG format I was able to create a threat that grows along with the players in their adventure. The players have to find out about the threat by talking to other characters they meet along their journey and by investigating the world around them.

Another aspect unique to Dungeon World is that it allows its players to focus more on the narrative within the world than on the combat. With this, the players are also able to decide where to go along their adventure.
