American History

I wanted to explore how Native American history is taught and how Native Americans are remembered (or forgotten) in the modern day. I wanted to provide a stark contrast with their lives before and after colonizers arrived, so I changed the color palette of the past from brown to red. I also wanted to show how colonizers are memorialized for the violence they enacted to claim the land for themselves.
